It is important that all Warm Air heating systems especially open flue models are regularly serviced to maintain safe operation and efficiency.

Rubex Energy skilled Gas engineers can service any type of warm air system including Economaire warm air heaters, J-Series Warm Air Heaters and Brink (B-Series) manufactured by Johnson & Starley, and Halstead warm air heaters, which are now outdated, but can be easily updated to newer more efficient systems.

  • Removing the filter and fan
  • Checking the heat exchanger for defects to ensure that products of combustion can safely escape to the atmosphere
  • Checking the integrity of flue way with smoke pellets
  • Cleaning the burners and pilot lights
  • Checking the gas efficiency and testing any gas connection for leaks
  • Analysing the products of combustion where possible
  • Check adequate ventilation for combustion

Should we find your installation has inadequate ventilation we are obligated to issue a Warning Notice and take action to ensure the installation is made safe. It is a legal obligation on all gas installers to carry out the safety checks and 'make safe' any installation that presents a risk to an occupier.
